Content Search

The search in our catalogue looks for the inclusion of a word or phrase within the catalogue’s database.

To access more references to a theme, use our Content Search facility to search through the texts of the books. Simply type your chosen word (at least four characters) or phrase into the 'fulltext search' box on the left hand panel.

You will see a list of books, showing all the references to your searchable word(s)highlighted in red. Each reference will be accompanied by the following symbol.

Clicking on this symbol will allow you to view a short extract from a book that includes the paragraph containing the word(s) you searched for, along with the preceding and following paragraphs to provide a context.
