Activities
QueenSpark’s activities offer a platform for 'lesser-heard voices', combining individual and group skills development with access to forums for local people to contribute to the history and present-day fabric of Brighton & Hove.
Our projects are either self-generated, collaborations with other organisations, conceived as a response to individual or group requests, or are designed to fill an identified gap in local skills.
CURRENT ACTIVITIES
These include 'Letter in the Attic', a Heritage Lottery funded project building on the QueenSpark-inspired tradition of oral history projects, creative writing groups, web training and volunteer programmes in writing and editing that QueenSpark has inspired for thirty five years.
RECENT PROJECTS
Recently completed projects have resulted in many new books which have been incorporated into our collection and are available for sale online.
FUTURE VENTURES
We have plans for future projects, but you can influence what we have in the pipeline and find out how to get involved.
