We are looking for volunteers to help source historic and contemporary images of Brighton & Hove for our forthcoming on-line Photographic Collection. Some of the image sourcing will be done online, but we’re also holding public events during October and November where members of the local community can bring along their photographs to be scanned for inclusion. VOLUNTEER TRAINING:
If you are interested in helping at the Public Photo Collection Events you must be able to attend two training sessions to be led by Kevin Bacon - Brighton Museum 's Curator of Photographs.
The first of these sessions will be held on:
Thursday 16 September 2.30pm – 4.30pm
During this session you will learn all about copyright issues.
The second training session will be held on:
Thursday 23 September 2pm – 5pm
During this practical session you will learn how to use the equipment (scanners and laptops) and about metadata collection.
Both sessions will be held at:
